Nowotny, Sebescen, Berbatov, Juan, Placente and Preuß still injured, Kirsten stayed at home, Brdaric and Franca are questionable. Toppmöller thinks about putting Butt and Simak to the bench.

    Expected lineup:

Butt (Juric) - Zivkovic, Lucio, Ramelow, Babic - Vranjes, Schneider, Bastürk, Simak (Balitsch), Bierofka - Neuville

Butt should sit after the horrible performance against Hannover. I saw him on Saturday but i still don't believe that Kirsten is still playing. Crazy.

What do you want to hear? I watched most parts of a 60 minute summary, or at least as much as I could bear. I knew that they would lose, but I never expected it to be that bad.

Take a look at the kicker ratings, I won't doubt them:

Juric (4 - okay, I doubt that. It was not better than 5)
Balitsch (5 - don't know why they trust in him that much; he's a great talent, but has been an average player of relegated Cologne last season, definitely far away from CL level
Kleine (5.5 - he's a poor guy; no defenders available anymore as Juan, Nowotny and Placente are injured; he's an amateur who'll probably never be a real pro)
Lucio (5 - usually he's the only WC participant who's back in shape, but today it was nothing)
Zivkovic (5.5 - as every WC participant except Lucio still in horrible shape)
Ramelow (5 - Bayer trusts in him too much, they overrate him, but he's no team leader)
Vranjes (5 - a super talent who fails to have his breakthrough since years despite getting many chances)
Schneider (5 - also still in horrible shape)
Bastürk (5 - same for him, though he's slowly but surely recovering)
Simak (6 - he seemed to be integrated, but played the diva after scoring two goals - since then not accepted of the team anymore)
Neuville (6 - same as for Schneider)
