This does indeed suck. Craig Merz is a fine soccer writer, but there's not chance I'm paying $4.95 a month just to be able to register. A big thumbs down.
aye i know espn already charges for the service that you provide us for free, gpk it's a big part of their insider package... most of the articles that the make note of are just articles found in the local newspapers for each team i'm not sure if any of that money goes to those newspapers, rather doubt it... ingenius move by espn to rip people off i can't remember what the other perks of being an espn insider are... i'll have to ask my old room mate... he got that from his girlfriend for his b-day this year
