9/14: Modena vs. Milan [R]

I can't wait either but I'm sort of worried about tomorrows game. Rivaldo is out and Nesta hasn't played a minute in a Milan shirt yet. And we haven't exactly lit things up in preseason and CL qualifying. I think this new Milan side will have a slow start(unlike last years good start) but as the season progresses and Nesta and Rivaldo get acclimated and Sheva returns from injury this side should start to really come together around November or December. Hopefully by then we will be within striking distance of the scudetto and still have CL football to play.(I pray we don't finish 3rd in our group and have to play in the UEFA Cup, I'd rather finish 4th and just concentrate on Serie A)

Are you sure? I was under the impression that it doesn't take affect until next year.

Milan couldn't have had a better start. I would have liked to see Tomasson score but you can't have everything. I think Ancellotti will go with the same lineup on wednesday with the exception of Tomasson who will make way for Rivaldo. And if Abbiati is healthy he will play but I don't know too much about his injury. I'm wary of using Dida in the CL.
