When I heard we got this team, I was uber excited. I'm still well past thrilled about it.

I've never seen a live outdoor soccer match.

I'm still trying to figure out what to wear on the 3rd. ;)

I won't. Aside from having a piece of "history", I certainly won't be wearing the damn thing.

If they produce a quality away shirt then maybe, but at the rate they're going no one listens to fans anyway so I'm sure it'll just be a giant Bosnian flag or something.

I bought my Missouri River Otters jerseys...even though they were ugly.

    I will support the team.

    With my dollars.

It's hard to take Morry seriously.

It seems he's a Fulham fan, but why the dislike of Chelsea's WOMEN'S team, I'm not too sure.

Just ask any of the STL players what they think about the Wizards training facility? The team put $5 million into that facility, which includes 3 fields, all different surfaces.

    http://web.mlsnet.com/t105/load.jsp?section=about&content=swope_park

In fact, the field they played on yesterday, is by far, much better than the main field at Soccer park.

Of course you are pro wizards, you work for them! I have been coming to Bigsoccer for years as a lurker to gain info on St. Louis and a possible mls team and you create the least enjoyable posts I have ever read. You hate that St. Louis is getting a team because its "taking away wizard fans". We get it, you can stop now.

Your post are always the same negative about St. Louis and Pro KC, do you think your doing the Wizards organization any favors by posting the way that you do?

No one is badmouthing anyone on here.

First of all, I am PRO St. Louis.....all of the time. I still have my Ambush 1995 Championship shirts and my original Steamers/Storm mechandise and game tapes. I support the Athletica and AC STL. How many Athletica games did you make last year? Trust me, I want STL to get an MLS just as much as anyone on here.

Secondly, it would be beneficial to EVERYONE if AC STL is successful and is able to make a switch to MLS in the near future.

Third...it's not a KC vs. STL thing. These exhibition games mean absolutely NOTHING!! The only thing they do is give more games for both sides. It's good competition for everyone.

Fourth....if STL fans want to come to KC for a game, great. If not, great. The Wizards aren't going to fold if STL fans don't come out to KC. They can also go to Chicago, or Columbus....or wherever they want....IF they want to watch an MLS game.

I don't know who the defender is on the left side for ACSL but if he continues to put himself in poor positions like he did in the clip above he is going to have a short stay in St. Louis.

    Not hatin', just observin'.

well since AC StLouis isn't doing that good of a job of getting us familiar with the players and keeping us up on the team, besides Facebook which doesn't give us much details, it's hard to know who anyone is (except Ralston).

It warms my heart to see our boys in their semi-official unis...lol. They should have their proper ones on April 3rd, at least according to the email I received from the team.

However...they're real now...there are enough players to create a roster.

Ahhh....I've been waiting for this day.

It still looks like a local park. Is one of the three surfaces clay? Now that would be interesting.

State of the art? Yet the AC team had no locker rooms to change in and had to do it out in the open?? Not very state of the art to me!!
