8/22 DC United - LA Beckham

Oof. Haven't had them to sharpen -- they've been with Scruggs out in the far western wastes.

Maybe bring our knives tomorrow.

 

So, I did a Pod inventory this morning. Lots of stuff we need was not there, but a lot of it (in particular, all the equipment-ish things) is apparently with Scruggs. Here's a list of consumable things we don't have, and would really appreciate it if folks would bring:

• Charcoal -- we don't have enough to get through tomorrow. It doesn't go bad, so don't worry about bringing more than we need.
• Charcoal lighter briquettes -- we have a half-box of these, which should be fine; but we're getting low.
• Lighter fluid and matches -- we don't have any in the Pod, which we shouldn't, as it's probably not safe to store them there. If we're brought some we can use for the day, that's fine.
• Paper towels -- close to out
• Kosher salt
• Duct tape (I know, Chico -- I don't know where it went on Real Madrid-day)
• Napkins for community table
• Utensils for community table -- we have a ton of plastic knives, but not much else

Also, as always, we will need lots of ice tomorrow.



EDIT: If you're going to bring some of these things to contribute, please post and let us know so that we know it's covered, and so that other people know not to duplicate your effort. We don't want 20 bags of napkins and no charcoal. Thanks.

What time are people thinking of starting the fun?

I've got nothing going after the Arsenal match ends at noon. Was thinking somewhere aroun 3 or so.

 

Only have two more games left this season and haven't been able to come since mid June. I might as well show up early

 

I'll commit to 40lbs of charcoal, but I WILL be late getting there.

 

I'll plan to bring a couple large packs of napkins and some spoons and forks.

 

I'll bring a bottle of lighter fluid I have lying around here.
