I just got through watching the replay of the Porto-Madrid game. Porto completely dominated and won by a score of 3-0 on goals by Postiga, Derlei and Deco. Porto seems to be in midseason form. I was very impressed with their pace, cohesion and depth. In fact, the second unit that they played tonight would probably fare pretty well in the league.

I like to see Porto against the more powerful teams like Sporting and Benfica. It seems since the end of last season that the portuguese teams are 6wins and no loses, against Spanhish teams, games with At. Madrid, Celta de Vigo and Desp. Corunha.

    Frank,

After watching that game last night, I think Porto could be the team to beat in the Portuguese league. Postiga is ready to be a star, and Derlei could have had himself 3-4 goals with better finsihing. Capucho was flying down the right wing, and Deco is in mid-season form. Mourinho has a lot of depth, so he should not have much of a problem with fatigue given the UEFA Tournament.
