OK I checked out a place tonight that can host a watch party. They have Galavision so the games against Turkey and Cameroon can be shown their. They do not have Telefutra so the game against Brazil is not an option. Fentons on 119th and roe in the Town Center Plaza. They do not have a big screen but they do have 7, 25 inch tvs in the bar/smoking area. This place is adequate for a large group of people to watch these games. I went and watched two games tonight while my friend was on remote for 97.3 The Planet. The waitreses are nearly as skin tight as Hooters but they are by far better quality, and I am not fvcking around here.
Another bump. Beer selection is very good. Last night was $2.00 pints of anything on tap and domestic bottles. On tap is Newcastle, Bass, Guiness, Boulevard Wheat, Fat Tire and Bud Light.
This is a newer place. They've actually been giving away appetizers via coupons last month and when I was there the beer selection was good. Good drink specials but the kitchen isn't quite there yet but it's not bad by any means. They're still honing it in a little. This place is wanting business and yes the waitresses were quality (for what it's worth) so it is a good place all-around as far as price, ambiance etc.... It's the restaurant with the pseudo clock tower neon thing on it for easy identification. Me thinks I'll surprisingly treat the GF to dinner in the bar area tonight before my indoor game and the OH Look.... The US is playing Turkey in France in Spanish... We might have to have another beer or two.... [GF eyes rolling]
If I can get out of work at a decent time tonight I will be there. If nothing else I may swing by for a dinner break and catch the first half since its right across the street from my office.
yep. a delay. On another note...im assuming this place is good for the kiddies (meaning: those of us under 18) , correct? The only reason i ask is the comment about hooters.
Yeah you are cool, its a resturaunt. The waitresses are good looking. The ones at hooters are ugly and just have tight clothes. There really isn't a comparison between those two places.
