I just watched the replay of Pulisic's goal and I love how Martin Tyler essentially credited the goal to the United States of America.

w/ 5 subs, might do this at halftime already: Kante on for Rudiger, CHO for Jorginho; switch to 433 so there's more players to aid build-up and they can start higher thus the fw's don't have to drop so deep.

That happens sometimes when you totally outplay your opponents for 30 mins straight.

He did have an awesome almost singlehanded goal early, and he has the hockey assist. But not enough overall, though I think he's middle of the pack for the squad today - Azpilicueta, Alonsoa, Rudiger, Jorginho may all have been weaker.

    First time for everything.

Azpilicueta should have been sent off though. No attempt to play the ball in the challenge that led to the penalty.

mighty mo is all on Arsenal's side, so like I said mid-size Frank needs to make adjustments like the ones I mentioned, and a straight swap of Emerson for Alonso, soon to turn the tide

They are sometimes beating them over the top... mostly they aren't letting them out of their own half and are winning tackles in midfield to stifle any transition, and also drawing fouls and keeping the ball. Don't think a creator helps any of that.

for arsenal to win- put 5 men on pulisic, mark giroud and mount. (maybe 6)

for chelsea- get alonso off without moving mount closer to pulisic. play long.

All Chelsea attackers have been somewhat out of the match for awhile at this point... but Mount was involved in their last decent attacking move, wasn't he?

Don't think he's been that bad, the rest of Chelsea just can't get the attackers involved anymore, they've all been kind of anonymous apart form the very good start.

I don't think arsenal were whistled for a single foul.

One. However, there weren't many almost-fouls either.

? Where was PEA going, except for right at the ball? Without the yank on his shoulder, he gets the ball.
