Police detained seven members of the Hapoel Bnei Sakhnin professional soccer team on Wednesday at Ben-Gurion Airport for allegedly shoplifting items from a duty free store in the departure terminal.

The team was boarding a flight to Spain, where it is scheduled to play the second leg of its second round UEFA Cup tie against La Coronia.

Anyone know what the outcome was?

I tried to find something on this today but couldn't.

Haaretz is pretty bad on following up these types of stories. They print them for their sensational aspects and then drop them.

As far as I know, they are still "investigating". Translation, they are waiting for everyone to forget so that they can brush it under the table because they are soccer players.
