If Cuba allows us to score 10 goals in their net, We will call up US Immigration and allow the entire side to defect into the States.
I usually agree with your posts but alas on this you are outta yer mind. Ralston isn't slow. At all. You want s-l-o-w see Olsen, Ben. Of course I'm right. Thanks.
usa-cuba is on telefutura, as is usa-canada... in philly, it's channel 28 over the air.. so if it's NOT on your cable system, some good person has posted a listing of ALL telefutura cities and chanhel dispositions, so SEARCH for it and you'll see if it's in your neighborhood... watched panama and colombia last night...a good night for concacaf
Sorry Blue Daddy. Looks like the US Soccer Match tracker is the only other option. I saw this in one of the other threads, but don't know how much validity it has. It was posted by a newbie. people who've never lived in this and that place often mistake delusion for reality. oh, just go over there (if you can get permission, heh heh) and see for yourself. i hear gitmo is nicer in the winter. oh, wait. that's HERE. i mean the OTHER there there. ps. congrats to panama.
out here on the left coast it's on galavision (cable/dish) or telefutura (UHF broadcast). telefutura is carrying tonight's match. get the ol' antenna out!
Don't take this as a smart ass remark, because it isn't. I honestly am asking, do you have some inside info on sprint times or something? Looking at the roster my eyes would tell me that Cherundolo and Davis are faster, and Quaranta and Mastroeni (and one of the many theoretical versions of John O'Brien) would probably at least be close. Olsen is slow, you have that right. Didn't use to be... What's interesting is not so much who is faster on the Gold Cup roster, but who is faster who is not on the Gold Cup roster. There's a whole lot of those (among the reasonable selections). Ralston isn't slow, but he is compared to several other potential options we could put out there. Since the position is one in which there is a premium on speed, there's obviously some decent questions about his suitability for the role. Ironically, I think Ralston isn't nearly as good as he was all those years Arena effectively ignored him. Bruce got to this party rather late...
Ralston is not slow but you have to understand that Ralston is the current target of so many big soccer experts. He doesn't belong, he's not good enough, he's too slow. I'm just glad Arena is making the calls, not the experts on Big Soccer. Speed is important but it's not the only thjing. I offer up exhibit A, Josh Wolff. He's fast but so what ... That's all there is for him and yet he doesn't draw the fire Ralston does. Ralston can deliver the ball and that's why he's there. We have big heading specialists in Casey, McHead and even Dempsey and they'll be retired and gone before they get a quality cross from the left. Ralston can get them the ball and until someone can do it better, he'll be in the picture.
yeah you are probably correct about the service from the left, its a shame we are stuck with "the american beckham" as well as the leading assist man in mls out on the left
