Isn't Ben Olsen a Pennsylvania guy? Maybe he'd be willing to auction off that Beckham jersey he got last night. First MLS gameworn Beckham jersey would go for a pretty good sum I'd think.
If I were him, I'd be honored that Becks swapped with a humble hard working American middie and I would frame that bad boy.
It kinda looked on TV like Olsen talked him into giving it up. That shirt might be like Charlton Heston's guns... "from my cold dead hands!"
Anybody have any serious fundraiser ideas? I have one that I have forwarded to the other elders but apparently it's AWOL weekend.
My other thought is that we shouldn't worry about raising funds for charities until we are supporters of a real team.
Upon some reflection, I agree with this sentiment. With a team behind us we may be able to get some equipment for them too.
