I was thinking the defense looks pretty composed today.

Any forward or slightly forward pass Pulisic has attempted has been met by nobody at all in blue.

Relative to their recent standard, I agree. But they're not all that confidence-inspiring, mostly because of recent results. However, I believe in Caballero at least maybe making an important save, unlike the other guy.

Same as Pulisic, except Pulisic's team is winning.

still think cho would help here, just to spread it out. mount cant help ranging the whole pitch.

Giroud and Willy are having massive games just for the calming influence alone

an off game for pulisic still sees him create multiple incredibly dangerous moments

The fake crowd noise really liked that shot from CP.

CP off today... but played better in the 2nd half. He was making a lot of runs asking for the ball but only really got one over the top and he got a dangerous FK just outside the box. You could see him screaming for one from Alonso towards the end of the game and didn't get it. Had that chance at the end too on a nice give and go but totally shanked the shot. Just not his best performance... but you can't play like Superman in every game. I distinctly remember Hazard have a few less than great performances for Chelsea.

He has shown signs today of losing that selfish attitude... but that was flat out horrible. You have to play Tammy in on that play. It was a relatively easy pass. But overall... pretty darn good performance from him today.

Man, Traore looks more like a rugby player than footballer. Wears his shorts like one, too.

I am liking him in the midfield. Energy, physicality. He is not much on link up play, but he is a presence.

Next year it will be tougher for defenses to crowd CP, and he will be better at finding people when they do.

I don't know why they don't just swap mount and Jorgihno for mount at cm and cho/willian on wing. Jorginho is really bad that far back on the pitch. He's only useful if you've got a million other ball winners and can just let him sit in the top of the box for half the game playing little passes.
