Willian is not in the squad at all, so something happened.

Oh shit, honestly I would have then gone with CHO on the right and swapped Mount in for Jorginho.

I would prefer CHO on the right and Pulisic on the left.

Benching Kepa is the right call, no matter how it works out in hindsight.

That being said, I think today does not go well for CFC; I think Wolves beat them and the other game ends 1-1 and they finish 5th.

Am I wrong in thinking that Pulisic was probably going to be benched again until Willian was ruled out at the last minute? I want to be wrong but Lampard loves benching him.

Remind me to return to this thought after the game.

doubt it. Willian absence just lets FL put his son where his adopted son wants to play, instead of where he is super-valuable (tracking box to box).

the chelsea fans would have had his had on on a platter if he benched pulisic for mount again. I know I've bitched about their fans loving mount but they don't love him that much. Or willian for that matter.

FWIW Lampard mentioned Pulisic would have played anyway given his form.

Lamp must really don't have much faith in CHO to start Mount of out position.

Game starts at 11 am eastern on USA Network/Telemundo

Champions League race coming into today:
    3. Manchester United 63 pts +28 GD @ Leicester City on NBC/Universo
    4. Chelsea 63 pts +13 GD
    5. Leicester City 62 pts +28 GD vs Manchester United on NBC/Universo

What result does Chelsea need to qualify for Champions League?

Chelsea require a win or a draw against Wolves to qualify after losing to Liverpool on Wednesday.

They will also qualify if they lose against Wolves and Man Utd win away at Leicester.

Agreed. Maybe CHO is not yet "90 minute fit". Or Mount is a favorite child.

Mount did play pretty well last fall. That was a long time ago.
