I'll be heading up to the game and was wondering where people will be tailgaiting as I'd like to meet some of you bastards.

I won't be able to make it 'till 5:30 best. Michelle doesn't get off 'till 3.. so we'll see.

Can't believe David didn't just post this but: http://v-armyonline.com/tailgate.html

That's the link I always give people when I invite them to the tailgate.

4:00? Rumor has it, that tailgating will begin at 2:00am... I'm thinking about getting there before 4:00 to get banners set-up...

Look for the white, Cingular Wireless tent. That's where V-Army will be.

We should have $5 section 137 tickets available.

Hey, I can be there around 5pm to help set things up or just hang out as well. I say we do the jersey flag, I'm sure many people missed Wednesday's game because it fell in the middle of the week. We'll have the numbers to do it. If Danza is going in early, I'll go too and help set-up. We'll shower the 'end with V-Army and Legion banners!

    Thoughts....

Then you need to stop making your own rumors. Or you need to inform the webmaster so he can change the start time on the site then. :D

If we have enough people there early enough, I have no objection to getting the jersey flag out.

Ideally, i'd like to start by 5 PM at the latest. We need to be out of the stadium by 5:45.

If you do not have a credential, we can still use your help running it up the stands, but you cannot help on the field, or under the stands. As far as credentials go, it must say "FLD" to get onto the field. Most anything else will allow you to help pack it up.

Keep in mind that we can't jump over the fence like we used to, so we'll need 6 or 7 people on the field as it is going up. After the flag has come down, those people will take the flag under the stands, drop it on the gravel just as we've always done, then they'll go up the stairs near the back of the locker room.

After consulting the people I'm driving and everything, I'm probably going to be there around 5:30pm. I DO have credentials to get on the field and I would be more than happy to help run the thing up the stands and put it away. If you started the set-up at 5:30pm I could do it, but earlier, I don't know. Go for it though, we have some credentials (2 for Legion) that gets us onto the field. We'll run it up and help put it away. Several people want to see it for the first time.

I just fear that 5:30 will be a bit late. Gates open at 6, and i'm sure the FO wants us out of the stadium by that time. We'll have to do it very fast, perhaps starting as soon as we have enough people.

Edit -- It's also SoccerAid today. If they're still using the field, then we may not get a chance to pull it out. But we've done it in the past with the boards already in place, so maybe we still have a chance.

Wrapping up, what was the deal with that RV? I called Chelsey before 5 PM because our tailgate spot had been taken and she said she'd call a few other people.

I left around 11 PM and that thing was still there.

I kept telling everyone it was Bill Archer and his grand return. :D

Sadly, Brook informed me that BA wasn't there. So I was wrong.

Thanks to everyone who welcomed my friend Andy and let me hold on to the Supporters Shield for far longer than any adult reasonably should have.
