Esky gets one for the first team and one for the reserves!

And getting some mop up duty...Judah Cooks!

Too bad the roadtrippers couldn't stay to check this one out.

Judah played in some mop up duty earlier this year at the RFK aux field, also.

Judah must nearly have as many minutes as a non-rostered reserve/guest player as he's got as an actual player.

Ok. MLS is refusing to keep the Reserve table up to date. Anyone know what it really looks like at this point?

Refusing? You mean people have asked and the league has said "no"?

No, what I find even more rediculous is that the Fire's page doesn't show the result, but D.C.'s does...only because it was released by the Fire's PR office.

Maybe it was a testimonial game?

I see a Johnny Torres suited up for Chicago and they don't have anyone by that name on their roster. Is it the same guy that used to play for New England?

I'm sure it is. A few weeks ago, some of us were reminiscing about his debut against us in 1998 when he injured himself.

Yep, this was his 2nd reserve game for us this season. He plays for the Milwaukee Wave of the MISL for his full-time job.

Yep, that's a strange one indeed.

He is also involved with some of the DC United Youth Camps.

    come now

Judah's involved with the front office as a "Special Programs Coordinator" (or at least that's what his business card says), especially with United for DC.

hey Judah Cooks is still good. I mean they let Jason Amaguana play in pne of these reserve games and he is a staff member.

I'm wondering why Stephen DeRoux didn't make the trip, hope he is not hurt.

Question on reserves--are they open to the fans to go and see? If so, where are they?

Yep, they are free to the public and are played at the RFK Auxilliary fields on Sunday mornings at 10AM (when scheduled).

The fields are just north-west of RFK, not sure about the address, perhaps someone else can provide that.

    Remaining home reserve matches:

    Sunday, 8/20 10:00AM vs Colorado
    Sunday, 9/10 10:00AM vs RSL
    Sunday, 9/24 10:00AM vs NYRB

If you've never been to one, I highly recommend it - lots of fun, very intimate environment, and of course the price can't be beat!

As best that I can tell, here is an updated table:

    1. KC 18/8 (points/games played)
    2. DC 13/6
    3. COL 12/5
    4. HOU 12/8
    5. CHIV 11/6
    6. RSL 10/5
    7. DAL 8/6
    8. CHI 7/5
    9. NY 7/6
    10. LA 5/6
    11. NE 2/6
    12. CLM 0/6

We already split with KC and have games against a few of the other teams (COL, RSL [twice], HOU) in the upper part of the table plus a pair against NY - there is no reason that DC should not repeat as Reserve Division champs given the current standings and the upcoming schedule.
