Coming off a nice win, Revs hopefully will get another win here

    Same lineup as last night?

    ---------------Reis
    Heaps--Parkhurst--Larentowicz--John
    --------------Shalrie
    Dorman-------------------Ralston
    --------------Pepe
    --------Dempsey----TnT

Hopefully Dempsey doesnt feel the need to trick himself with all the fancy moves and we score more than one and not hold our breath for the last 15 minutes (wishful thinking)

    2-0 Revs

shouldn't red bull change it's name to red cow? afterall a bull would have testicles and clearly NJ sugar water (like that nickname, btw) doesn't.
If we can't walk with 3, we have serious issues.

btw, Drewww tried to get a ManU reject chant going for kenny after his big wiff, but the folks in 101 just don't have the stomach for singing (other than "rev-o-lution" *clap clap clap clap clap)

well burning the RBNY flag that Green Briar stupidly had up on their wall is just as good...thanks goes to Brad for explaining to everyone in the pub why he wanted to rip it down...and being allowed to after the explanation

Julie and I also took a bunch of the free shirts the Red Bull jerk off gave to Phoenix Landing during the Holland-Ivory Coast game...then he stood in our way to argue with us about why we booed the team then took the shirts. So we are covered for things to burn for the home game in September as well as the mid week away game in September

To me the lineup last night was more of the bad old 343

    ---------------Reis
    ----Heaps---Parkhurst---John
    -------Shalrie---Larentowicz
    Dorman----------------Ralston
    ---Dempsey-----------------Cancela
    --------------TnT

I have yet to like Cancela on the wing, it just is not his game. If we are going to use this 343 formation, I hope not, then I would rather see Brown in that position. If we can shift back to the 352 then Cancela should stay out there in the AM position.

John should have claimed the left back at least until Joey or Riley comes back. Larentowicz is getting better each game and will allow Hernandez to work his way back into game shape before having to start a game. Ralston showed a little life the last game, hopefully he will show even more soon.

Lets get Dempsey to pass the ball more instead of looking to take on defenders each time. We may need to put Dempsey back into midfield before that happens though. Put Cancela into his AM position or put in a true forward.

The only position Brown has shown competantcy in is striker. Pepe was playing a more withdrawn role last night. Brown is an inept passer in the midfield so he'd belong up top with TnT and Dempsey at AM.

Can I add my Red Bull bandana I got at the first game to the fire...I got it to make a toilet paper joke on the bus, but I had too much to drink and forgot

he needs more reserve time and work on his finishes before he is going to work well up top with Twellman.

Do we even play reserve matches anymore or did Garber mean "MLS Lite Reserve" during the WC?

The reserves will be playing Saturday after the 6pm game. They announced that during the game as a quasi-doubleheader.

A nice pair of stats for this game

184 minutes for NE without allowing a goal.
242 minutes for NY without scoring a goal.

Shutting out NY will give us the second longest streak of the year and NY second worst.

So much for the theory that teams play better the first game or two after their coach has been fired.

OK, so who's making the banner that says "If your manager's nae Scottish, you're CRAAAAP!"
