Raking the Bush admin and Congress over the coals for funding diverted from the war against terrorism (and that other diversion in Iraq). Yeah, it was delayed due to that debacle by the Pats.
Last week's 60 Minutes was the 18th rated show on TV, viewed in 10.8M households. Certainly down from past years, but that's still a lot of people. And it was up against Game 2 of the World Series and NFL football. http://tv.yahoo.com/nielsen/
Do you think the family members of the troops interviewed are all liars? Yea, they may be partisan but have been on the air through various administrations, hit both sides hard and been in the top (at least) 20 in show rankings even with the addition of 24 hours news. Never saw such compassion from a conservative. If you took the time to address a non-partisan issue such as real support for the troops, you could agree that the administration could and should do more. But hey, that yellow ribbon on your truck must make up for it.
. . . says the guy who constantly links to stories from Drudge. You're hardly in any position to call yourself "discerning."
I've never linked to anything from commondreams. In fact, the only times I've ever even read anything on commondreams were when I first saw Mel's posted links. It took about two links before I realized what it was. I've never looked at it since.
Remember when it was always in the top 3 or 4 shows in the rating? I think this time next year it will be off the air.
Not as long as it continues to follow the NFL on CBS. When it did take a downturn that was the same period CBS lost the NFL.
