    well said.

I'm starting to think we are the enemies at these games, even though we are in our country. We need to treat the other team's fans with respect. If not, then you are no better than the racists who disgrace themselves with racist chants throughout Europe.

It's okay to get on them for 90 minutes and have pride in your country, but acting like they aren't equal to us as human beings is wrong.

Question for the Chicago people, I will most likely be staying somewhere in the Wrigleyville area..Will the Globe Pub, run buses to the game ? Don't they do it for all soccer events ?
    Thanks

If staying up at Wrigley, board the red line at Addison and take it south to Roosevelt. Then it is a couple of blocks of a walk to the east.

I was there and generously put it at 60% Honduran; many at the time said 50/50, in fact. Lower bowl almost entirely US fans. It seemed like more because Hondurans were much louder.

Don't know about the Globe Pub, but you could also take the CTA Red Line directly from Addison to Roosevelt Road, which is about a mile walk from Soldier Field, or transfer to a bus that goes over to the stadium.

For the T&T match in Sept. the Globe had buses running to Toyota Park, with beer for the trip. If not you can catch the brown line at Irving park, which is like two blocks from the pub, to the loop then get on the red line to roosevelt.

Actually, the Brown Line & Red Line are side by side at Fullerton & one other stop south of Addison -- you'd want to change lines there, or if you wait until the Loop, you'd want to use the Green Line or Orange Line for the rest of the trip to Roosevelt. In the Loop, transferring to the Red Line would require an elevated to subway walk of a block & a half.

I haven't been to the Globe lately...but as of a few months ago, the Brown line stop that's about 100 yards from the globe was still out of commission, being re-constructed.
