I should add that it doesn’t really matter that it’s Pulisic he’s ignoring; it’s insane to have a left back refuse to pass to the winger on his side. It’s an indictment of whoever reviews video with that team that it wasn’t addressed in like October.

That’s probably partly why Giroud has been starting. He does a lot of things well and is a lot more mobile but in a game where he has to hold possession he’s a liability

 

Mount is really uninvolved; he needs a better midfield partner than Gilmour

 

Gilmour is the one who clearly stands out here as not being ready for this level. But Chelsea's entire backline seems like a problem to me as well, especially when building out of the back.

 

At least two of those changes are completely correct assuming Azpilicueta comes on for Emerson
