Right around the same time as Four Leaf Clover (20:10 or so), it looked like the fans on the bridge side of the stadium started raising white cards. I had assumed this was going to be in correlation to the UNION on the seats, but either my angle prevented me from seeing it, it was a little disorganized which caused it to unfortunately break down, or my heat-addled brain just hallucinated the whole thing. Anyone know?
I was in 103; they got the message across and it seemed everyone on our side of the stadium (directly across) got it because everyone applauded. I saw some picture somewhere (Union's FB page?) of a close-up of one of the cards on an empty seat explaning the Four Leaf Clover at 20:10 thing and how they should raise the card at the same time.
That's AWESOME. I'm glad to see it was just my angle. Great job by the FO for getting them there and the people for being part of it.
I was in 125, I got a blue one to hold up! They had instructions, and everyone in our section was counting down once it hit thie 20:00 mark. We did our best, but I know I for one was still trying to peek past my card to keep an eye on the play. As far as the song, I couldn't hear it, but I was on the far end and had a bunch of noise around me.
The best way to handle card tifo IMHO is to cut a small viewing hole near the top of the card. It doesn't show on TV, and it means if people want to see the play they pretty much have to hold the card in a uniform position which makes the tifo very visible.
I was in 127 with a blue card to the left of the top of the "I" and I had it up all game as I fashioned it into a sun visor. BTW, does anyone know if the sun has a thermostat?
I didn't realize they put up the lyrics to 4LC on the LCD boards inside the stadium, but then again I wasn't in the stadium.
I was sitting in that section and got to hold a card up. There were miultiple rows behind me that were empty, but after looking at the picture it looked like we got our message acrross.
Yeah, the row behind me was empty and it looked very underwhelming from where we were sitting with the amount of people not participating/vacant seats. I even said "oh well, we tried" to my dad after we all put them down, but it looks like it turned out much better than I thought it would.
