Re: History Channel http://members.fortunecity.com/lori19/fate.html A good website for old Steamers news clips including news articles relating to the demise of the initial incarnation of the Steamers including a very good one by Kevin Horrigan.
Re: History Channel Is that all? I could have sworn he was older than Preki. He looked and played like he was.
Jack Bell, stick to soccer--as in the sport! Will somebody kindly tell Jack Bell over at the New York Times, considering how little the Times bothers covering soccer, that I have no interest in seeing half of this Tuesday's Soccer Report being wasted writing some whiney crap about AIDS. Hey, Jack, we've heard this all before. I know this is Gay Pride Week and you may feel you have to contribute some pious bull to it, but your job is to write about soccer--as a sport--not some guy utilizing it to advance his personal cause. It's sweet that Ethan Zohn feels he needs a grand purpose in life to get himself out of bed every morning, but find someplace else in the goddamn paper to put it.
