Not a bad guess, IMO. It will be easiest to create on the wings, but I really think we will need to be able to attack through the middle as well. And Wes is an in-form gamer.
I like the flexibility that the starting lineup gives when making subs. You have plenty of ways to change things with just one sub quickly, and in a tournament format that will be huge. My biggest worry is a Freeman blunder; he has been good for one a game but has usually not been punished. Wish I could be at the games in person, but prices being what they were, it just wasn't possible, so in front of a big screen is the next best thing. Let's go get 3 boys.
The Freeman-Almiron matchup concerns me. We just gotta get forward enough, weight to the other side, and shade Adams/Richards to that side or have Dest hang back as needed
you can get penile implants....but you can't regrow lost hair. look, you will hear that most men experience hair loss as they age. sure. but that is not the same as extensive baldness. even freakin bon jovi complains his hair has receded a little; so has springsteen's. but that is not the same as losing all the hair on your crown. science can't come up with a good reason for why baldness even evolved....they try to say it looks like it imparts wisdom. donkey doo. anyway, i remember a goal by bulgaria in 94 when a balding player headed one into the net, and my wife heard andres cantor in spanish saying who needs hair when you can score a goal like that....baldness...the last safe thing to make fun of.....ok i will leave it there. let's hope for a win tonight, i think it will be a low scoring frustrating game. of course it will.
I will say that as for myself, I never believed that Enciso wouldn't play. Maybe he won't be 100%, maybe he will be, but nothing was going to keep him off the pitch..
I would love that, but I just have a feeling Pulisic gets it. My dream would be any combo between those 2.
Totally disagree w/Lalas there. As spectacular as winning the WC would be in terms of an upset, all we needed to make the semifinals was the correct call in 2002, and maybe better reffing in the group stage in '10 would've given us a chance. That is not remotely the same as college hockey players beating the best professional hockey team on earth, that hadn't lost a game in like half a decade or whatever. The Miracle on Ice is the greatest upset in the history of sports by a billion miles, and no, a WC win would not be a greater upset, not even close. Clearly he knows nothing about that event in 1980.
