The Dutch FA is celebrating fifty years of professional football in the Netherlands. Here's where you can vote for your favourite club (only Dutchies allowed I think), as well as for your favourite player and manager over the past fifty years:

Pretty interesting selection of 10 clubs isn't it.

My fave club obviously is Twente, best footballer obviously Cruyff, best manager obviously Michels.

WTF!! Pretty B*llsh!t selection of 10 clubs....What on Earth is Heerenveen doing there!!!! All other clubs (exept WII maybe) have achieved considerable things in UEFA cup or in the league.....but H'veen???? 6 CL games (only because of the group stage) and a couple of shameful 1st round eliminations at the hand of obscure east-european teams.......

    this makes me [IMG]

I thought it was a strange selection too.

Voted for AZ off course. The last champions outside the "top 3".

Oh come on! If Heerenveen is in that list, then FC Groningen should be there too, same goes for ADO and even Vitesse, who had more success in last season's cup run than Heerenveen will ever have! But I'll tell you why ADO, Fietstas and Grunn aren't in that list and Heerenveen is.........It's because Heerenveen is supposed to be everyone's favourite second team, and how could you leave them out of that list even if they haven't 'kicked a dent in a pack of butter' (dutch expression) in 50 years time?

have to agree with WGP here... Heerenveen, although a decent club, has not reached anything basically except one CL qualification (as has W2).

Over 50 years Heerenveen does not even stand in the shadow of clubs like FC Groningen, AZ and even Roda JC.
