That's right. All tickets are $5 for Friday night. It is everybody's duty to get as many people out there as possible.

Since we are going to have open seating, are the Mystics thinking of sitting near the middle of the field on Friday?

Nice to see you finally post! ;)

No, I doubt we'll be relocating. At least thats my feelings. We have our section for a reason and to move for such an important game wouldn't be a good idea. We need to be there every game to keep increasing our numbers and no better time than this game.

What a second . . . I didn't see anywhere that said that the whole stadium was going to be GA. It just said that tickets were going for $5. I take that to mean it will still be assigned seating, however each seat is now $5. I don't think they're planning on ticking off all the season ticket holders who've been there every game by making the whole stadium first-come, first-served.

Has anybody seen if the whole stadium is, in fact, going to be GA?
    Thanks.

"All seats in the stadium will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All sideline and club level tickets will be issued as reserved seating at the time of purchase and all endline tickets will be general admission. "

    Also of note:

"Wizards Season Ticket Holders and other fans that
already reserved their seats throughout the playoffs will receive credit towards their account in 2005."

Let's see if we can get a great crowd out there Friday to send our boys to the final in style...

So your status as a season ticket holder in the sideline seats means nothing. But once you purchase a seat it's yours for the night. The Cauldron and Yard will be like normal. BTW, save your $5. Lots of us have a fistfull of tickets left from the season. I'll have at least 5.

We should move up to club level.

    Not exactly true.
Season ticket holders had the option of buying playoff tickets before the playoffs even started. And it was a one-shot deal, you had to buy tickets for BOTH games. Yeah, even though there was no guarantee of making it to the second game. So I bought and received my tickets, for my regular seats and for both games, a couple of weeks ago.
So yeah, if you're a season ticket holder and didn't buy early, you're out of luck.
That's all I really wanted to know - do I get to sit in my regular seats? Since I have my tickets, the answer is yes.
    Thanks for your help everybody.

furry, I will point you back to this quote right here though, the way this sounds, instead of getting your regular seats, you will just get credit for next season instead. I could be reading it the wrong way though

Only our FO could take something this simple and screw it up...

Talked to someone in the FO. If you're a season ticket holder who bought your playoff tickets prior to the $5 offer, you retain your tickets, your seats, and you'll get credit towards next season's tickets FOR THE DIFFERENCE.
If you're a season ticket holder who did not buy playoff tickets prior to the offer, you are out of luck. Your tickets are inthe first-come, first-served pool.
Sidelines and upperdeck ARE reserved seating for the game.
