My Galaxy rep just called and gave me the details for the 5-game ticket plan. If I remember correctly: Prices for the package are: Sideline - $200, Corner - $150, Upper Deck - $140 and Goal Line - $100. 2003 Los Angeles Galaxy 5-Game Plan Schedule Date Opponent Time Sat. June 7th Colorado 1:00pm Sat. June 14th Kansas City 7:00pm Fri. July 4th New England 7:00pm Sat. Aug. 16th MetroStars 7:00pm Sat. Sept. 20th D.C. United 7:00pm
Thank God. Got the e-letter myself announcing the plan. Glad it has opening day on there. Probably won't be around for July 4 so may look to trade tix with someone if I get the plan.
Tix-ehhh It's good to see the 5 game package i got last year only went up 135%. tickets in the middle of the field, 3rd row. which cost $17 per, or $85 for the 5 games package. Only cost $40 per, or $200 for the 5 game package. The Stadium only cost 32 million dollars, so does that mean the ticket price hike is so we can afford Ronaldo? so this is what winning a championship means.
Re: Tix-ehhh No - it means when supply is limited and demand is high, the seller can command a better price. Simple economics.
Economics aside, it does seem like a pretty steep hike, especially when the best seats are no closer to midfield than the 18 yard line. That sucks. Does anyone know where the second level at Home Depot starts as compared to the Rose Bowl. (ie Row #)
spoke to a rep Basically package works as follows : using the upper deck price 20 game - $22.50 a seat 10 game - $ 25.00 a seat 5 game - $ 28.00 a seat day of game price - $ 30.00 a seat ___________________________________ seat assignments and choice of seats goes as follows... 20 game buyers pick first, 10 game buyers pick second, 5 game pick third, day of game and ticketmaster buyers get last choice.
I don't know the specifics but I've been inside the new stadium and there is NO comparison between the upper deck and the Rosebowl's second level. The upperdeck at the new stadium is VERY close to the pitch. If I wasn't going to be standing with the Riot Squad, I could be perfectly happy watching the game from the upper deck. Here is the view from the top row of the upper deck... http://www.lariotsquad.net/avatars/ntc022303s/images/lastrow_jpg.jpg
I am sorry to be the one that breaks it to you - there is no such thing as "economics aside." That's like saying, "Gravity aside, I could really jump high." Or, I could be a really great soccer player, if it weren't for that talent thing.
great look Gooner, nice picture of potential seats. But are Riot Squad seats cheaper than Upper Deck?
