5 Associations Porto, Lisbon, Braga, Setubal, Coimbra or 25% of the vote meet today, for improving ways to help Portuguese Soccer grow.
One of the items in the agenda a reduction of teams in the I liga, change II liga to two divisons North and South, also improve the system of the II B divisions.

They believe a Super League with 12 to 14 teams will generate more revenue and better quality of games.

    Benfica
    Porto
    Sporting
    Belenenses
    Academica Coimbra
    Setubal
    Guimaraes
    Braga
    Beira-Mar Aveiro
    Maritimo
    Boavista
three other teams, will have a great league.

According to 24 horas newspapers the reduction for 2003 will be only two teams, it looks like its going to get pass.

II Liga will be divided in two divisions North and South, maybe Leixoes can be move up, let see how they finish the season.
