    Wow, Galarcep is reporting that the Howard to Man U is a done deal, pending only Howard's receiving a work permit. He goes on to say that he should be receiving his Hungarian (mother is Hungarian) passport in 3 - 4 weeks and then he's gone. Arena is allowing Howard and Mathis to skip the New Zealand friendly so that Howard and the fans can get one last game. Best of luck to Howard, and congrats to Man U. I think they'll be happy with Timmy.

    Besides Howard and Mathis, will the rest of the MLS players on the Confed Cup roster be playing vs. New Zealand?

    Frank Yallop asked Arena that Donovan not play in this friendly because of the Quakes injury problems.
