He was going to come to Leeds before he went to ManU. He didn't want to leave Brasil until his girlfriend turned 16 so they could get married though.
I'll have a pre-match news round-up later this evening/afternoon/morning, depending upon where you are viewing this. And in doing so, I'll try and highlight more Timmy Howard-related features and other matter, since there seems to be quite a bit of it out there.

Got the laptop already set up in the lounge room... game's live on free-to-air on SBS here across Australia. I can help out with some of the PbP, too.
Thanks William for all the work this year, and what a culmination to it all . BBC were interviewing two Millwall fans on the way in and they were almost dazed by the fact they were in Cardiff.
I can provide what the Germans commentators (dsf) will say after the game. Can somebody help me out though... didn`t Keller win the FA with Leicester back in 1995 or something like that... I know Friedel won the Carling, but really thought Keller won the FA. Thanks Taylor
Ditto on the thanks William. Great stuff all year. I hope Howard has a monster game. Look forward to watching it on FSW.
nope i asked a similar question earlier this week, Harkes is the only one to get to the FA cup final which his team(Sheffield Wednesday) lost to Arsenal, i think in '93
No, Keller was in the "League Cup" in 1997, with Leicester. They won. But, Harkes was in the FA Cup final with Sheffield in 1993, losing 2-1 against Arsenal.
I may be mistaken, but it looks like the BBC will webcast it. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/fa_cup/default.stm
They've been webcasting the F.A. Cup all season, so there's no reason why they won't do the final as well, methinks. Worth a shot, to be sure, for those unable to get to a TV to view it live.
Dang. I must have missed that. I thought the FA Cup was never webcast. It wasn't last year I dont think. Of course, I have drank a lot of beer in the last year so my memory is not all that great.
I checked the Fox Sports Net affiliate who usually shows one EPL rebroadcast match at Tuesday lunch, but no dice. They're rebroadcasting an Angels - Orioles game in that time slot now. Freaks! Maybe this link will work for some of you. ESPN soccerscores commentary. Livescores -

not a bit. What he does here today won't affect his play for the national side. I hope he lets in 4 or 5.
