It's nice to see that ESPN hasn't totally forgotten soccer. The Italian and Brazilian national soccer teams make Page 2's Whiner Hall of Fame: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/murphy/030520.html?partnersite=espn
Geez, Sachin, did you have to admit that you've dated someone from BS to the media? Other than that, not too embarassing.
From the Boston Herald article: ``Not at all,'' said Revs coach Steve Nicol. ``What I said to Wolde was, `Every position we have on the field, we need competition. Up top we've got three quality guys for two positions, and now in the middle we have three for two, and two for one in goal, which makes for a good, strong squad.' '' Am I misunderstanding the man or does this mean, as I suspected, that the Revs are playing a version of the classic and exciting "six-two-two" formation?
Actually, I'm not sure the Revs even had anyone play defense against the Fire. Not that they had to considerng the ball never got over midfield (note: this is not intended to start a huge debate, just a little joke to break up the monotany of work)
