It's not a stretch to speculate that if they had better players and played in a more stable and suitable system they would run away with the prem.

It is a stretch however to assume that the bottom ten teams from the prem would beat out the bottom 10 teams from La Liga.

Teams in La Liga outside of Real and Barca have far less resources than teams in the prem yet they play the better football and have close to the same points totals as the teams outside of Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea in the prem.

Yet they're only 2 points ahead of Valladolid who have to deal with far tougher opposition and have much less resources.

And they have the same points total as Torino in Serie A with a far worse GD..
