that was a little too easy, blame might rest with Montoya but then if Alves was in he'd be even further away, so maybe it was the central defenders

Montoya comes from the Alves school of leaving the winger a ton of space behind him. Unfortunately, he is a lot slower than Alves.

Blame it on players but the main cause of the goal was Barcelona's high defensive line, it's what gives us strenght but that goal showcased it's main weakness, a creative player plus a speedy winger behind the fullback can expose it.

Obviously you can't read too much out of this match, but Barca's style is perfect for City. City are at their best when playing against teams that look to play football and attack.
