No wonder his agent wanted to get him some more money eh?

I was devastated after reading about his Gambling problem.
Is seems as though he will give his all to turns things around. I certainly wish Eidur well. I feel he will now be a permanent started.

Would I be correct in saying: Every game he has started on the ground this season he has scored?

I would hate to say it, but I think Eidur and Gianfranco have swapped roles. It seems as though Zola will start as a substitute and come on for Gudjohnsen late in the second half.

    Thoughts? ^

I know he didn't score in the Boro

FA Cup match that I was at. Not sure how many others he didn't score in. Pretty sure he started vs Southampton on Boxing Day. Did he start at Leeds?

Regardless, the specualtion about whether it was these money issues that led to the pay raise/transfer talk earlier this season is very intrigueing. From the looks of it Eidur has decided to take his lumps like a man and hopefully his pledge to remian a Blue isn't just idle talk. While he is the future of the club I think Zola needs some PT as well to keep his skills fresh.
