Here are the rules for a 4 Goal Major League Soccer pool (50% of proceeds going to your youth soccer team): 1. A maximum of 23 members can join per pool (because as of 2018 there are 23 MLS teams) 2. Each entry is $xx 3. Each member is randomly assigned a pro team after pool is filled 4. The first team to win a league game by scoring 4+ goals wins 50% of the pool. Remainder goes to the soccer team. 5. You can now collect new money and repeat. Variations: 1) First team to win a league game with 4+ goals and have a shutout (ex: 4-0, 5-0, etc..) wins 50% of the pool. 2) The first team to win a league game by scoring 5+ goals wins 50% of the pool. Remainder goes to the soccer team. (A bit harder to achieve but has happened a couple of times in a season)
