At times, there's nothing wrong with writing to a response to a soccer basher. However, don't waste your time with Jeffrey Flanagan. He writes a meaningless little morning tidbits sort of thing, and is an idiot to boot even if you disregard his soccer bashing.
All too true. He is amazingly consistent in his lack of fact checking, spin for effect, and star-f'er quotient. Flan is to journalism as ramen noodles are to fine dining.
Final Adu article today (for real this time! ) Adu starts well out of the blocks Marc Connolly ESPN Soccernet.com http://soccernet.espn.go.com/feature?id=296253&cc=5901 Gotta love Nowak's sense of humor: "-- Nowak's answer to how his side can add more firepower up front: "I'm going to go out and buy Ronaldo." BTW, wasn't there supposed to be a Connolly chat last Friday? Cannot find any link to it anywhere....
