With luck, both. They did the schedule right for a change by playing the international first - this way any players with anything left can still play for their club teams. When the club game is played first, no NT callups get to play.

This could be fun. The Nigerian fans at the WWC in 99 were great.

    Siri could pull double duty.
They probably would want Mia to play in both. Is it worth the risk? I mean the Nigerians can be ruff. (understatement) She doesn't need to get wacked.

anyone else need to be reminded of the cheap shot the nigerians put on mia in 99...there are low blows then there is just backing a player into an isloated part of the field and kicking her guts out...i still dunno how that wasnt a red

I read it as both her and the Syracuse chick leaving the team. They probably both realized that they had no shot of making the 16+2+2 roster.

Old Freedom bench warmer Keri Sarver is trying out with the Power.

I guess this means the WUSA all-star game won't be at RFK in 03.

It will be five hours south of DC in Cary, NC. Nothing truly official yet though. I got this info posted in both the WUSA forum and Courage forum.

    The roster has been named...

...and Abigail, Siri, and what's her name are on it.

I wonder how Heinrichs will manage the Beat/Freedom players. Will she sit them in the second half so they can play in the second game? And I wonder if Heinrichs will actually play Abigail.
