That save from the Belgian defender wasn't as much about saving the result, it was more about no way I want to play 120 mins in a 3rd place match.

I think you guys are underlying this a little. Only the winner of this match actually gets a medal. The loser gets nothing.

Aren't Belgium playing too much defense for Hazard and Courtois taste ? I am surprised they haven't remvoed themselves from the field in disgust yet.

Does England have its attacker train together? They play like they have never met each other before

So unless Griezemann of Mbappe score a hat trick tomorrow, Harry Kane will win the golden boot. But he must be one of the lamest Golden Boot winners of all time. 6 goals, but 3 of the penalties l, 2 knocked on corners, and that one wildly deflected goal his only from open play. 5 of the 6 goals in the first 2 games against 2 of the tournaments most limited teams, only 1 penalty in the last 5 games. Meh...

Tottally agree. Watching him week after week playing for Tottenham, he was really underwhelming and seemed off his game. There were several crosses which I saw which Kane would have knocked in playing for Tottenham. I was unimpressed with him this tournament.

Congratulations to Belgium with the bronze medal.

Fully deserved.... though they really missed a opportunity to grab the cup.

The magic goal scoring amount of 6 strikes again. 8 out of last 11.

3 PKs and one off his heel definitely the lamest perhaps ever.

I agree Kane becoming golden boot winner would be undeserved.

Congratulations to Belgium. They should have finished this game earlier, but repeatedly failed with their last touch and shots on their counters until Hazard finally finished off the game for Belgium.
