Saw this nice pic of Carlos at mlsnet.com:

    and was wondering...

Is this a practice jersey Carlos is wearing? Or is this a third jersey?

In either case, can we purchase this somewhere?

    It looks great!

I wonder if those are for sale.

They look nicer than either of our match jerseys.

I would love a blue/grey or blue/red hooped 3rd jersey. But as it stands right now Adidas barely has the teams covered in home & away kits thanks to Houston & RBNY. Im sure 3rds will show up eventually.

I like the idea of a blue/red hooped jersey.

Kinda like Barça's -- but with horizontal instead of vertical stripes.

agreed. I even think that wearing the regular hoops shirt with white shorts would be an elegant look.

However, I am turned off by the rancid tone of blue on the training shirt. It looks to much like the puke KC colors. Don't care for the mixing of the puke blue and red on the training warmups either.

I used to love the wierd lima bean green of the old Burn, but if they are test marketing the switch from "Bovine" or navy blue to this new puke or baby blue, put me down as a nooooo......!

I walked by it when I was there for the Dallas Cup. What a joke. I'm almost tempted to call and see if they would like me to set it up for them to make it look decent.

    That's "royal blue"

An obviously noble color as the name suggests.

BTW, baby blue ain't bad either:

It's Bovine Blue and Republic Red

I like it too - hope they get the store stocked and it should have been open during the Dallas Cup Finals on Sunday. All the finals contained atleast 1 Dallas team.................another opportunity lost.

I'm thinking they are waiting for some fixturing to arrive. I know from my "industry" experience that retail fixturing, if specially designed, can take a long time to make and ship. The grid walls they have in there now are just a temporary fix....I hope.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I got the impression from the woman running the show that they were in there for a while.

Even Charleston had clothing racks and real cash registers.

I think that if we do get a 3rd jersey eventually. i dont htink it needs to be "hooped". Why not just a solid blue? I mean a team like newcastle with the home stripes.. but there second jersey is not striped. i dont htink we need to have ALL of our jerseys hooped.

Agreed, plus it gives an option to those who don't like looking having big belly.

Agreed on the the timing, but how long have they known they would be moving into the stadium? I think if you got the standard clothing racks, it wouldn't take that long.

However it would look a bit better if they spread the merch around the store instead of one area.

There was another Marsielle top that I couldn't find. Also think of Ajax's top.

Just throwing some ideas out there.

I kind of like what Chicago did with the Morelia style shirt. We should do the same with a Tigres-esque 3rd jersey. Then I would have an excuse to buy one.

maybe adidas could roll out a tight stretchy 3rd kit like Puma & Kappa roll with for Real Bettis, Roma, Tottenham, etc.

Tight = Right ...haha, I guess

forgive me if I want to look sexy while supporting FCD

someone before mentioned Fire's 3rd jersey was based of their Mexican partner (Morelia I think) and thought perhaps the 3rd jersey incorporate Tigres' color and/or style
