I think Ramsey is the heir apparent for Cesc's role. I think he can grow into it. Obviously no Cesc though.

But yeah, we clearly need to make some moves this summer.

Didn't they sell Toure to City? And Adebayor?

    Dangerous position.

Big save by Cech. Gallas should have tapped in.

There is still plenty of time for him to miss a couple of sitters.

Or make some goal line clearances for Chelsea.

Exactly. So their transfer budget isn't necessarily 0 is it? Shoestring, sure. But not zilch.

I'm excited to watch the Roma-Fiorentina game. After Milan's cockup earlier Roma have the chance to go second (which, let's face it, is the new first in Serie A).

Wenger is like a lemming stuck in Groundhog Day.

How many times can he have his team jump off the same cliff?

My god, how the hell is Arsenal going to cope without Cesc?

They have been the same work in project going on 4-5 years now, and no progress.

That gif. of the two cats fighting sums it up perfectly...

and then there were two... i like the strides that we are hitting and we need to just keep on winning our games.

Chelsea look tough - will be interesting to see how Everton takes it to them this week.

There has been plenty of progress. Our net profit is through the roof.

A lot better than Arsenal, can assure you that. Is Fellaini fit?

I don't know, but it's time he and those "youngsters" get the same kind of stick Livershit does.

I don't see much of a difference anymore. Livershit's is out of the race by January, Arsenal just waits till February. Both start off "well" and think this is their year.

Everton won't have Pienaar. And they looked so toothless against Liverpool. Chelsea really should get the 3 points there.

Don't think so. Arsenal are more than capable of streaking against the fodder and they have a favourable run-in.

Truly useless against top sides, though.

Arsenal played some nice stuff going forward in patches, but it's all useless when your defence is so poor that you are continually chasing the game. It's like us when we had all those injuries at the back. Wenger can't blame injuries in defence though.

Walcott lacks confidence, just like Nani did for a long time. As Nani showed, you can come out the other side. Hard to see it happening in time for the WC though.

Fair enough, point taken. But this just seems so far from the Arsenal I grew up watching. You guys have been a big club for years, and long before AW arrived.

We always expected you to be there, or there abouts to the end, and having a pretty say in where the title went. It must be so frustrating to see this for your fans. And what's worse, i can't ever see your board turfing Wenger. He delivers top 4 finishes and a great ROI for them.

Do you think the spending issues stem from AW himself and his stubborness, or is this really a board thing?

    Impotent attack.

But, they will definitely be up for it, if anything.

And, would be surprised, if Saha is as ineffectual as he was against pewl.

    That's not true at all.

Nani, on paper, ticks most attributes to be a top class winger. Always has.

Walcott has nothing outside of pace.
