Chad Ochocinco was at Real's training ground today and met C. Ronaldo. Heard #85 can play! I'd like to him race C. Ronaldo! :D

Yep Ochocinco is getting his big break:

I don't know how to link to just one tweet. Not sure when this trial will happen or what surgery he is talking about. He could be the Robbie Findley of RM.

Is he going to be at Sunday's game? I've seen him and Jozy tweet each other, I think ocho is a big usmnt fan. Jozy might actually get to play and it's on espn2.

Well, with a last name like Ochocinco it's likely that he has dual US/Mexico citizenship.....

Chad Johnson was a pretty big high school soccer star and - if people remember - actually kicked a field goal in the NFL for the Bengals.

He's a Miami Beach High grad and, as many have pointed out, Miami Beach is a destination to many vacationing soccer and, obviously, NBA/NFL/MLB stars.

I recall seeing an interview on ESPN where he said it was favorite sport and that he only chose (American) football for the money, more or less.

Actually, he kicked an extra point...in a preseason game.....

.....And then took the ensuing kickoff.

I stand corrected (on the field goal).

BTW, here's another one that "got away".

So he'd fit in well in La Liga because he knows how to keep the ball on the ground, no?

For an average soccer player it seem to be very easy to kick a field goal in NFL... Morten Andersen was an absolute nobody with average skills in the lover levels of Danish soccer before he moved to the USA and became a Star in NFL.

Morten Andersen was a great kicker.

But it seems he had the body for the NFL (188 cm, 102 kg) rather than soccer.

Manni Burgsmüller (213 Bundesliga goals) came out of his soccer retirement to kick in the NFL Europe and did so until he was 52.

Chad Johnson (aka Ochocinco) was a 4.4 (~ 4.8 40 meters, a Theo Walcott type speed) Wide Receiver coming out of college.
