I think any country that win the Cup three times should win it for life. Brazil All ready has the Jules Rimet. Why not do the same for the Current WC Cup. It would be nice to have in the Trophy Case.
Well if Brazil gets the Cup again, I hope they take better care of it than last time. But you think Germany has a good chance of keeping the Cup, since they're hosting it in 2006?
Argentine Futbol, I think it will happen. Once FIFA set the precedent, there's no going back. People's expectations are that it should be repeated. And I'm sure whichever team's federation will lobby for it. How much would that joint go for on eBay? And yes, its most likely staying in Germany.
It would be nice and given tremendous efforts to achieve it. Plus I would love to see what new design for the World Cup would look like. I know that had at least 5 or 6 design for the last one. I personally think all the countries should lobby for it.

FIFA said durring the last WC that if Germany would have won the title, they would NOT be given the Cup. Currently, the winner gets to keep the cup fromt the time they win it until the World Cup Finals draw in December before the tourny, when they have to give it back. The nation is then given a replica of the cup to keep forever. FIFA will not give away the cup again.
I'd love to see a new one as the current cup has got to be the ugliest trophy in all of sport...not to mention that it isn't a cup.
