Wouldn't it be sweet if EJ tore 'em a new one in this tournament? This guy can still go either way--and a good tournament like this would probably give him a lot of momentum and confidence.
It seems to me that EJ almost always does well at these type of tournaments. That would be nothing new. I want to see him tear them up with the Burn for a change. The competition EJ has to face in the MLS must be much harder than the competition he faces with the U-21 squad.
I hope this is the start of the Burn having a good core group of American players. Their internationals have always been pretty good but name one player that has been a fixture on the grown men's national team. This has always hurt when the playoffs come around and other teams step it up.
