Eddie's been in fine form for North End, as they strive for a playoff place in Division One. But a possible hernia injury which limited Lewis' status to that of a second-half sub midweek may play in a role as to whether he plays or not. Preston's in 12th spot, but only four points away from sixth. They have to get points three at a pop while having results in other matches go their way-- although the situation for them is not code-red, at least not yet. Kickoff's at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET (and 2 a.m. Melbourne time for me here). The news round-up's coming right up...

Halftime, and it's still 1-nil in favour of Burnley. No sign of Eddie; still on the bench. Both Cresswell and Fuller have been booked in the first half for Preston.
The man was a child star in The Little Rascals, then he starred in "In Cold Blood," then he was Beretta, then he allegedly killed his wife...and now he's scoring goals in the first division!!! Brilliant!!!
