regarding the LA times article, what a complete A$$H0le the new mexican coach is - implying that the reason Mexico doesn't do well is that they play against the north american teams too much( ie. U.S.) and not enough against south american and european teams and therefore have a lack of confidence . This is the best excuse yet. Keep em coming

Ah ha! So this is what Jesse was referring to in that cryptic announcement proclaiming the end of BigSoccer as we know it was near.
People say we spend too much time playing the Jamaicas and Canadas of the world and not enough time playing the Spains and Brazils. Same-same. Sachin
Huss' announcement was "Big Socer leaves the net". Now that could mean something offline as you say. But it could also mean that BigSoccer, Inc, has been, or will be, aquired by Fox Sports World.
Ok, before any nasty rumours start, the article said nothing of the sort. It said that FSW was teaming with Terra Lycos for some sort of website, and that the message boards would be provided by Bigsoccer. This is the same as the relationship between Bigsoccer and the San Jose Earthquakes.
fug him. once his team can beat the US then he might have a vaguely valid argument. until that happens -- shut your mouth beyatch. 2:0. shite like this makes us hate mexicans. (referring to other thread posed to the gringos.)
I was impressed by Jesse's Garber-like command of marketing-speak: "This alliance combines the breadth and depth of Fox Sports World's news and analysis with the global scope of BigSoccer's community properties," said Jesse ***************************, President of BigSoccer, Inc. "U.S. based fans of American, European and Latin American soccer now have the definitive online destination to call home."
maybe Andy Swift isn't so swift after all. they need to quickly find some more parking spaces and use the time-tested, Naperville-method of bussing in a bunch of folks. friday isn't very far away to get it all figured out.
