If we only have 20,000 for a game in Seattle today, then I think we need to take Seattle off the MLS expansion list... James
This doesn't mean anything, really, but just an observation from my vantage point overseas... We here in Australia got this movie ("Bend It Like Beckham") released here last year, in addition to its general release in the U.K. Usually it's the other way around-- we get the wider-released movies here six months or more after they're released in the U.S.... Like I said, this means nothing-- I just found it kind of quirky, from my perspective over here. Maybe not the bonafide genuine article yet, but this is the biggest hurdle cleared so far in the whole process there, right? Closest thing to date to the "shovels-in-the-ground" stage-- and best news so far for MLS fans in Texas.
Why dont we just be rational and normal human beings and let them play the match first, then rip them to shreds.
Blah blah blah. Uninformed lunatic reactionary extremists are dictating league expansion policy once again. DC pulled in under 14k for El Salvador last November. That doesn't mean that United's charter membership in the gang of 10 should be revoked.
Great news in Dallas. However, we should allow a Seattle expansion team, but put it in writing that if one of the other MLS clubs pull out from a game seven days or less before it is played and they quickly have to find some opponent to satisfy fans who already bought tickets and fill the TV time they've bought then they should get kicked out of MLS for low attendance. Does that work for ya?
by the way, the normal login works... i just set it up (might have helped me miss it earlier, not being logged in)
Good coverage in OK, real nice work by this Ojeda cat. Does he write at on all MLS during the season?
Of all people to diss somebody else on lousy attendance...a Wizards supporter! Don't make me laugh...
