Would love to see an MLS club in Portland eventually. Always a good crowd when the Nats played qualifiers there. Houston? I guess any new investor (if they get one) is good for the league if they are actually in it for the long haul. But expanding to a 70,000 seat NFL stadium isn't my first choice. Unless Rochester can come up with some money and do some sweet talking to Garber & The Big Three, I think we will see at least one of the two 2005 expansion teams playing in an NFL stadium. If we get the Frisco and Harrison stadiums started (or finished) by then, I can live with it. Off topic a bit here, but does Bill Gleason (from the legendary "Sportswriters on TV") still write for the Daily Herald? Or was he with the Southtown Gazette (or is that even a real paper)?
i think the southtown is associated with the sun-times i can't remember... mlsnet has a link to it on it's links page
