Midway through the half, Danny Karbassiyoon, who had been having a tidy match on the left side of midfield, inadvertently nodded Jackson’s corner towards his own goal. Fabregas spared his blushes by nodding off the line at the far post. Two minutes later Dean Marney blazed wide from the corner of the area.

Tidy? Thats good right?

Spurs were the brighter side in the opening stages. On four minutes, Johnnie Jackson forced Stuart Taylor into a diving stop with a long-range effort. The Arsenal keeper spilled the ball and it run loose in the area. Fortunately Frankie Simek was on hand to hack clear.

Good to see they are getting lots of playing time. Simek is still captian, has an interview on ArsenalPlus (pay service) that was just posted today. He talks a range of topics.
