Friedel with a couple of relatively decent saves early, but City are starting to warm up.

After Yorke hurt in warmups, Ostenstad hurts himself, Sukur in.

City much better in the second half. Several chances for the visitors, with B-burn barely holding on.

    FT, 1-0.

Brad with the clean sheet, and Rovers take all three at home.

    Press Release:

The United States Government is still working on a missile defense system. An anonyomous source within the gov't would not confirm or deny reports that the huge American goalkeeper playing for premiership side Blackburn is the centerpiece of the new shield. A spokesman for the joint chief of staffs when asked about a potential signing for Mr. Friedel would only state the potential transfer costs may be prohibitive. President Bush has been known pushing for a deal but congress seems to be dragging its feet.
