    Cheers,

    This bears repeating:

Get your arse off the couch, put some black clothes on, and get to the freakin' game!!!

    What?

Does "possible last game at RFK without baseball" mean anything to you?

Does "bouncing in the stands as we crush the Metrotards and move on" not appeal to you?

Bring your family, and your other couch bound friends as well.

Games on tv are there so you can record them and watch it in peace after missing 90% of it due to going nuts in stands :D

I couldn't have said I better myself! We always watch games that we attend later - to see different angles, to get replays on plays we weren't sure what happened (foul/no foul) and just enjoy it again.

If anyone has a tape of this game, I'd love to see what I missed.

Replay on FSW on Tuesday afternoon at 3 PM..

Additionally, if you have broadband access, most MLS games are archived on MLSNet.com..

The entire game? I go there and see highlight clips, but I haven't found entire games . . .

Heh. Duh. There's a video link I haven't been able to get to work; even though I have realplayer installed it seems to think I don't. It never occured to me that that was the whole game link. Duh. Thanks.

are you using Mozilla or Firefox? The video links don't like to open in it. try Internet Exploder.

I use Linux, so there's no IE option. The video highlights come down fine, but not the video for the whole thing. They appear to be hosted at two different places (highlights by Akamai, full video by Yahoo). It's weird, because under other circumstances or from other sites, I'm able to play all three formats that MLS/Yahoo says they use (Windows Media, Real Video, Quicktime). But for some reason when I try to play the whole thing, Yahoo comes back and tells me 1) that they don't have a Real Video feed (OK, fine), 2) Real Video is all my browser can handle (which is wrong), and therefore I'm hosed. Dunno.

yeah, exactly. I can't get the full game video to work from Firefox. the highlights are fine. Maybe you should try some alternate browsers. It has to work in something other than IE.

Is there any chance whatsoever that Comcast Sports Net will reshow the game?

I checked their website and they have all kinds of garbage scheduled to air throughout the week, but no DC United v Mutts rebroadcast. IIRC, some games this season have been shown both on CSN and FSW. Why not this one?

I was at the game and enjoyed it immensely but I never saw a tape. I even had a 8-hour VHS tape set aside to record DC United's postseason march to their (I mean our!) 4th MLS Cup trophy. But I have a gaping 2-hour blank space following the away win at the Swamp.

I live in Arlington and don't get FSW.

CSN did not have the game at all so I don't see how they can re-broadcast it. It was on FSW and on DirectKick via the Metros broadcast.

MSG replays their games alot. CSN rarely if ever does. If you have DirecTV, it's ch. 621.
I'll be watching my tape from FSW tonight :)
