I think on current form I would plump for cock up. Not sure they are available but there just to tease. I am not sure the 39 is right as 1234 as I can't see it offered at all.

You've already got a ticket to 37, on the same day? </GUESS>

Well done, you ought to be running the ticketing you seem to have more of an idea than they do about it. By the look of Soccer City they are going to have to wangle some big teams in there. I bet England get Port Elizabeth. Small and difficult to get hold of and North Korea will be at SC against paraguay.

I have another problem. Paid for ticket after phase 1 via bank transfer 05 may 2009. Still my status pending to pay. Emailed to FIFA and no answer...

I should imagine they are very busy! This whole process, especially as the same in Germany, is surely very simple and I know there is the diffrence of having written applications for SA residents but it should be a piece of cake.

When they have to move all the tickets the Sponsors can't be arsed to take next year they will have to do it a lot quicker than this.

I have never been comfortable with the arrangement that legimately someone can get 28 tickets and someone else none whatsoever. Seems grossly unfair.

A couple of us flagged that one up in Phase 1. The application form had a glitch in it. Once you'd selected a list of matches, you could click on each of them to see/update the details. But if you did that, all the details for that particular match you were looking at would be correct except the match number, which would default back to the first game at your chosen stadium. You would need to re-select the right match from the list.

In the heat of the moment it would be possible to miss something like that. So I'm not surprised some people have accidentally applied for tickets to matches 1-8, 10 and 15, that they didn't want.

I have just looked through that thread, as before my time on here, and it is horrifying to think how many people may have got the wrong tickets. Some may not even know it. I am a great rushing into things too quickly person so surprised I did not muck it up.

I don't know the email, but I'm sure you can find it searching this thread.

    The phone # is:

011-27-83-1232010 (the 011 is if you're calling from the US, if this doesn't work try 00 before the 27).

Wow, must be nice. I've e-mailed thrice and haven't heard back, which is infuriating. First time I wrote was 4 weeks ago, almost.

If they can't even handle fulfilling orders and replying to a paying customer's inquiries, how the hell are they going to handle putting on this event? Makes you wonder.

I just got a bit excited.....the ticketing site was down for maintenance for about an hour. I thought new tickets may be on the way.

    Sadly not....oh well.

    Not me.

I know what you mean. Well, I was successful in Round 3, so I have not applied again, therefore I think we are in Round 4.

Its still phase two, but you can put in another application in this round after each one is completed.
