Ever seen a flic during its first run and hated it; then years later catch it on cable, or on cheap rental, and love it? Just saw "Pootie Tang" on Cinemax....died laughing. Hated it when released (must of been the pressure of getting my $8 worth!), but somehow it all makes sense to me know. The scene in which Pootie sets a saucer of milk outside the door to appease a groupie....classic. Bob Costas' cameo in which he states "...believe me I know Pootie, and this isn't the Pootie Tang of old." Genius. Any others experienced this with other movies?
